Substantial improvement of modern biodiesel extraction technology from lipid-soap residue of vegetable oil production and design of experimental equipment ensuring its operation

Ltd. Bio-Venta on 02.10.2023. has started the implementation of the research project “Significant improvement of modern biodiesel production technologies available to Ltd. Bio-Venta from lipid-soap residue of vegetable oil production and design of experimental equipment ensuring the operation of the technology”, Project No. 5.1.1.2.i.0/1/22/A/CFLA/005.

02.07.2024.

During the period from 02.01.2024. to 02.07.2024.:

1) In cooperation with the teams of SIA “Bio-Venta” and the scientific institution RTU, based on the defined new technology requirements, 1 of the 4-stage technology methodology was developed - the acidification stage method;

2) the requirements for experimental equipment and the boundaries of their characteristic indicators for ensuring the technology were defined.

The development of the extraction stage method has been initiated, which is planned to be completed on 30.09.2024.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Latvian Recovery and Resilience Mechanism Plan 5.1.r. reforms and investment direction "Increasing productivity through increasing investment in R&D" 5.1.1.r. reforms "Innovation management and motivation of private R&D investments" 5.1.1.2.i. investment "Support instrument for the development of innovation clusters" operational program.

Total project costs: EUR 314,040.04, planned support EUR 176,501.09. Project implementation duration 24 months from 02.10.2023 to 30.09.2025.
