The upcoming Transport Energy Law – in the interests of foreign fossil fuels, not local producers
In the TV24 program, Bio-Venta Ltd. and LBBA board member Indulis Stikāns shares his opinion on the new transport energy law
In the TV24 program "Dienas personība ar Velta Puriņu", board member of the Latvian Biofuel and Bioenergy Association (LBBA) Indulis Stikāns and board member of the Latvian Biogas Association Kristīne Veģere state that the upcoming Transport Energy Law supports foreign fossil fuel producers, not local renewable energy producers. This creates a significant impact on our country's energy policy and the potential to develop green energy in the transport sector. In order to strengthen our energy independence and reduce emissions, more attention should be paid to the development of local energy and the promotion of business in this direction.
